How do I enable Modbus on my Fronius GEN24?
Enabling Modbus on your Fronius GEN24 can only be done with a Technician's account.
You can contact your installer to arrange this. Alternatively, you can raise a support ticket with us, send us the model and serial number of your inverter(s), and we can submit a case with Fronius to unlock 'Remote Access'. You can then enable Remote Access on your inverter and we can update your Modbus settings to allow control from the LinkPro/LinkZB.

Below is the set of instructions for setting up Modbus on Fronius Gen24 if you are accessing with a Technician's account.
Technician/Installer instructions:
1. Log into the Technician's account and make sure you can view the menu items on the left hand side. These will be used in the following steps to get to the appropriate settings page.
2. Set up Modbus TCP comms by going to the Communications → Modbus page, and set fields as shown in Screenshot 2.
3. Set Controlling Priorities as shown in Screenshot 3.
With regards to sites with multiple GEN24s, Fronius has advised that at this time there is no native coordination provided by Fronius, though they do have plans to support export control with multiple GEN24s. As such, the setup would be as above for each GEN24 and then our device will control the GEN24s.
