Technician/Installer instructions
Below is the set of instructions for setting up Modbus on Fronius Gen24 if you are accessing with a 'Technician's' account.

Log into the Technician's account and make sure you can view the menu items 'Communication' and 'Safety and Grid Regulations' on the left hand side. These will be used in the following steps to get to the appropriate settings page.
2. In the 'Communication' tab, enable Modbus
Set up Modbus TCP comms by going to the Communications → Modbus page, and set fields as below.
- 'Control via Modbus TCP' turned 'ON'
- 'SunSpec Model Type' is set to 'float'
- 'Allow Control' is set to 'ON'
3. In the 'Safety and Grid Regulations ' Tab, set Control Priorities
Set Controlling Priorities by going to 'Safety and Grid Regulations' and applying priorities with Modbus Control first.
