How do I connect my LinkPro to my solar inverter?
The LinkPro communicates with your solar inverter using Wi-Fi. In order to set up this communication, you need to pair the LinkPro device with your Wi-Fi, it can then start sending messages and curtailing.
The LinkPro can be paired with your Wi-Fi in different ways. The recommended method is via the LAN cable supplied with your device.
This can be done via the following steps:
- Connect the LinkPro device using the LAN cable provided with your Wi-Fi router (if a LAN port is available on your router).
- Turn on the Device or restart it if it was already on, wait for both Green and Blue status lights on the device to turn solid.
- Once you have downloaded the app and created your account you will be able to add your devices through the “Add Device” button in the Home Screen. Tap this button to begin connecting your devices.
- Follow the onboarding instructions in the App by selecting the LinkPro device and following the in-app instructions.
- Once connected, your devices will appear in the ‘Connections’ tab.
- You will then be able to accept Solar Optimisation plans, configure them, and assign them to your inverters.
If you do not have a LAN port on your router, ensure the LinkPro is plugged into a socket close to your Wi-Fi router. Wait for the Green status light to be blinking indicating it is in pairing mode. Continue the onboarding flow in the App by selecting the LinkPro device and following the in-app instructions.
