How do I find my Sonnen API Auth Token?

1. Find your sonnenBatterie in your local network.

  1. Ensure you are connected to the same network as your sonnenBatterie
  2. Using your browser go to https://find-my.sonnen-batterie.com/
  3. The website automatically scans your network for a sonnenBatterie
  4. Navigate to the dashboard of your system


2. Login and access the dashboard of your sonnenBatterie.

  1. To login to the dashboard, use following credentials:
    1. Login: User
    2. Use the initial password printed on the type label
    3. For older series 8 & 9 sonnenBatteries use the password sonnenUser3552



3. Enable and manage access to the local API.

  1. Go to Software-Integration in the navigation menu
  2. Toggle On the Read API and Write API
  3. Copy the API token (to be entered in the Voltello app)
  4. Access the API documentation

Please take care when copying the API Token, which is 36 characters long. If the Voltello LinkZB/LinkPro fails to find the Sonnen battery, double-check the length of the API Token.

Please note that the Read API and Write API options need to be enabled at the time you click 'Create New' API Token. If the Read API and Write API options were not enabled, a new API Token needs to be created after enabling both the Read API and Write API.
