How does the ‘Surplus Solar for Comfort’ plan optimise my energy use?

The automation adjusts your split system air conditioner's temperature based on your home's energy use and the target temperature range you nominate in the Voltello App. If you are using more power than you want, the air conditioner’s electricity use is reduced by adjusting the temperature up or down depending on the season and whether your air conditioner is heating or cooling. Conversely, when your solar panels produce more energy than your home needs, the system increases the air conditioner's load to use that surplus solar.
