The inverter is curtailed based on your Amber or Localvolts price, with a new price published every ~5 minutes. The inverter responds within seconds of receiving the 5-minute price signal. The 'Solar for Amber' & 'Solar for Localvolts' automation plans retrieve the price every 5 minutes and instructs the LinkZB or LinkPro to do 'export control' or not. During export control, the LinkZB/LinkPro reads the household consumption from the smart meter (if one is present) every 10 seconds and adjusts the inverter curtailment accordingly.
