My battery isn't charging during curtailment.
Most batteries are configured to charge when there is surplus solar, i.e. when energy is being exported to the grid. When the Voltello link device activates export control (when we limit exports) we maintain a small level of exports (0.05 kW) to ensure the battery sees surplus solar and charges. As the charging rate increases, we also increase the solar production to meet the needs of the battery while never exporting more than 0.05 kW.
If your battery isn't charging, this usually means the default limit of 0.05kW is too low for your system. You can increase your 'Negative FiT Export Limit' from the default of 0.05kW in the Advanced Settings in Solar for Amber.
