My Link Device isn't connecting to WiFi/Bluetooth during setup.
Troubleshooting
If your device is stuck on a connection page while onboarding, please check the following:
- Make sure you're connecting to a 2.4GHz network.
- Make sure you're NOT connected to a guest network. Guest networks often prevent devices from talking to each other.
- Check your phone's software - if you're on iOS 18, you may need to try the 'Connect over WiFi' setup instead.
iOS 18 Users
This bug has now been fixed - please make sure you are on the most recent version of the Voltello App.
If you're on iOS 18, there may be an issue with Bluetooth connection of the Link Device.
Head to the 'Menu' tab in the Voltello App, then Tap 'Plans and Offers'. Here, you'll find the option to connect to the Link device over WiFi rather than BLE (see screenshot below).
Use the attached instructions to connect to your Link device. You'll then be able to add inverters/meter through the '+ New Device' button on the Home tab as usual.
