I have a Fronius smart meter, what benefit is there in turning on the Night Mode on my inverter and how do I do it?
If you have a Fronius smart meter installed alongside your inverter, it is a good idea to turn the Night Mode on. With night mode enabled, your smart meter records even when the inverter is turned off, capturing your entire household's energy consumption, not just solar production. This provides a complete picture of your energy usage patterns
Follow these instructions to turn on Night Mode on your Fronius Inverter:
1. Go to the SETUP page of your inverter settings / menu
2. Press enter to access the Setup. Now scroll down for the option "Display Settings"
3. Press enter and find the setting that says " Night Mode"
4. Press Enter and now set the Night Mode to ON.
Once you've hit Enter, or toggled to ON, you can go back and just go into the Night Mode again to make sure it is set to ON.
