Village Energy supported inverter brands and models

Village Energy supported inverter brands and models

At the moment, Village Energy can only support Fronius, Huawei, Sungrow or SMA inverters that have WiFi enabled.

The following makes and models are compatible:

Brand

Model Numbers

Solar PV

Fronius

Fronius Eco
Fronius Tauro
Fronius Symo / Symo Hybrid / Symo GEN24
Fronius Primo / Primo UL / Primo GEN24

Huawei

SUN-2000-(2-6KTL-L1)

SUN8000-***

Models installed prior to June 2020 are not compatible SUN2000L-(KTL2-6) as they do not support the Wifi Smart Dongle. Please see note below.
Please note that Huawei inverters require a Huawei WiFi Smart Dongle which may need to be purchased and installed separately. Your inverter is only compatible with the WiFi Smart Dongle if it has a USB Port. We do not support Huawei inverters that have a RS485 Communication Cable instead of the WiFi Smart Dongle.

SMA

SBn.n-1AV-41
SB nn00TL-21
STP50-nn-40
STP nn000TL-20
STP nn000TL-30
SMA inverters should have a compatible "Speedwire Data Module" installed.
Please note SMA Sunnyboy SB 4000 TL-21 does not have WiFi capability and for that reason NOT COMPATIBLE with the Village Energy LinkZB or LinkPro.

Sungrow

SGn.n (RS, RS-S, RS-JP, RA-ADA, RT, etc...)
SGnn (RS, RS-S, RS-JP, RA-ADA, RT, KJ, KSG, CX-JP, KU-M, BF, HV, CX, etc...)

Only Sungrow models that support MODBUS or that are compatible with the Winet dongle, is supported.

Please note: SG5K-D is not compatible with Modbus and for that reason NOT COMPATIBLE with the Village Energy LinkZB or LinkPro.
Please note: Unfortunately Sungrow Hybrid inverters are not currently supported. Integration of SH inverters is in development and we hope to be able to add these models to our list of compatible inverters very soon.

Our developers are working on expanding this list of supported inverters.
