If you want more control over your battery's behaviour to maximise profits, you can allocate reserve charging capacity and preserve your discharge to only occur when there are price spikes.
Normal settings allow you to set a maximum Buy Price for charging when it's cheap, a minimum Sell Price for discharging, and a minimum charge amount for battery health.
Enabling Advanced Settings
Use the Advanced Settings toggle to view more options:
When you enable Advanced settings, the additional parameters you can set are:
1. The power used to charge and discharge your battery, as a percentage of your battery's pMax
2. Choose to pause charging at a set percentage and only charge to 100% when the buy price is very negative, and you get paid to import from the grid.
3. Choose to pause discharging at a set percentage (above your minimum reserve level) to only discharge below when there is a FiT (Sell Price) Spike, and you get paid to export into the grid.
4. Hold (keep your battery at a steady SOC) when the buy price is low and you dont want to charge to 100%. Set the Hold Threshold to 100 if you never want your battery in hold mode
For each of these, you can choose the Buy /Sell price that you want to allow charge/discharge beyond these thresholds.
Understanding your settings
At the bottom, you'll be able to see a summary of your settings for you to review before you save. You can show or hide this information using the toggle shown in the below screenshot.
