What are the 'Battery Schedule' settings in Battery for Amber?
As well as using your Amber Price to control your battery, you can set schedules for charging and discharging too.
You can use the Schedule feature with or without the Advanced settings.
When you set a schedule, it will override your Amber price settings & control for the duration of the active schedule.
Enabling Schedules
You can set up to 4 time blocks for Charging or Discharging in the Battery for Amber automation by enabling the 'Battery Schedule' options and choosing your schedule parameters.
Setting your Schedules
For each schedule block, you can choose:
- Start time
- End time
- Whether to charge or discharge during this block
- Charge or discharge limit (SOC %)
- What days to activate the block (every day, only weekends or only weekdays)
Use the toggle 'Add another schedule' to activate and configure more time blocks.
Understanding your Settings
At the bottom, you'll be able to see a summary of your settings for you to review before you save. You can show or hide this information using the toggle shown in the below screenshot.
Once you’ve applied your schedules, your battery will be automated for your chosen times. Outside of your schedules, your automation will use your Amber prices and Battery for Amber settings to control your battery.
