You can set up to 4 time blocks for Charging or Discharging your batteries or Curtailing your solar inverters in the Voltello Battery Solar automation.
Set your Battery Schedules
For each schedule block, you can choose:
- Start time
- End time
- Whether to charge, discharge, or stay idle during this block
- If choosing charge or discharge, you can set:
- Charge or discharge limit (SOC %)
- Charge or discharge power (% of pMax)
- What days to activate the block (every day, only weekends or only weekdays)
Use the toggle 'Add another schedule' to activate and configure more time blocks.
At the bottom, you'll be able to see a summary of your settings for you to review before you save:
Or, you can reset your plan or apply a default TOU schedule.
We’re working on adding some location-specific schedules.
Once you’ve applied your schedules, your battery will be automated for your chosen times.
Default Battery Mode
Outside of your schedules, your battery will be set to your 'Default battery mode', which you can set to:
- SCM, which will hand back control to the battery for its default behaviour, or
- Idle, which holds your battery at its current percentage.
The 'Voltello Battery Solar' automation now also supports up to 4 schedules for solar curtailment.
Set your Solar Inverter Schedules
For each schedule block, you can choose:
- Start time
- End time
- Curtailment method during this block
- What days to activate the block (every day, only weekends or only weekdays)
