Why is my inverter not curtailing when there is a negative FiT or why is my inverter curtailing when there is a positive FiT?

Village Energy retrieves the Amber price at the beginning of each 5minute interval and adjusts the inverter based on that price. Sometimes the Amber price hasn't been updated before we retrieve it, which means we take action based on the previous price. This can cause us to incorrectly curtail or export for 5minutes before the price is updated again. 

Village Energy is evaluating a solution where the price is verified during the 5-minute interval to confirm that the right action was taken, and to update the inverter control based on the updated price where appropriate. This feature has not been implemented yet. 

Please also check your inverter connection if you suspect that your inverter should be curtailed, but is not. If your inverter has lost connectivity, curtailment will not work.
