How long after I register and set up my device will it start curtailing?

Once you have connected your inverter with the LinkZB or LinkPro device, it will enter a reboot sequence, which could take up to 1minute.

When it appears in the 'Connections' Tab, you can then head to the Plans and Offers page via the 'Menu' Tab, and tap 'More Plans'. Tap the Solar for Amber plan to assign it to an inverter and configure your curtailment settings. You'll need to configure one plan for each inverter.

We use an API to fetch your Amber price signal every 5 minutes, so in theory, it could take a up to , but no more than 6 minutes before your inverter will be curtailed.

If you have completed the onboarding, and you are experiencing a negative FiT period, but the curtailment does not seem to be working, then please ensure that MODBUS is enabled on your device.
You can read more about that here:

Please note: Modbus should be enabled by default on all Sungrow inverters.

If you have enabled Modbus, and curtailment still does not seem to be working, please raise a support ticket by emailing us at: support@villageenergy.zohodesk.com
