Our team is working to add more smart meters to our list of compatible meters every day.
For now, we are able to integrate with smart meters manufactured by Fronius, SMA, SunGrow and IAM meter.
The smart meter should be installed on the
feed-in path so that it is able to report the total import and export of the household consumption.

You may need to check the installation point with your installer.
Village Energy uses MODBUS to send messages between your inverter, your Voltello device and your smart meter, so any smart meter that does not have MODBUS capability, will not be compatible by default.

Smart consumption meters are different to utility-installed smart meters, such as EDMI meters, which don't allow third-party connection and control.
We are always looking for customers who are willing to be alpha testers for new brands of smart meters. If you have a smart meter other than Fronius, SMA, SunGrow or IAM meter, and are willing to be a tester for our integration, please reach out to us by raising a support ticket, we would love to hear from you.
