Ensuring your devices are online - Flexible Exports, Dynamic Connections & Emergency Backstop

Why is it important to keep my Voltello device online?

One of the key requirements for Emergency Backstop, Dynamic Connection or Flexible Exports sites is that your solar devices and the Voltello LinkZB or LinkPro (the controller) must remain connected to the internet. This ensures that when a limit is required, it can be applied at your site.

Warning
If one or more of your devices is offline, then site limits won't be applied and your site will be non-compliant.

How do I check my device status?

  1. Enable notifications from the Voltello App. If your device is offline, you will receive a notification.
  2. Check the lights on your Voltello device. The LinkZB/LinkPro has a green and blue light. When connected and functional, these lights will be on and stable. If lights start flashing or turn off after it has been successfully connected, there may be a connection issue. What do the coloured LED lights mean on my LinkZB / LinkPro?

  1. Check the Voltello App. You can view your notifications in the app, and check the status of your plans. You can view the recent status of your plans in the Home tab or on the plan’s page.
